There are 7,874 registered newspapers across Nepal. We’re certainly not trying to be the 7,875th. We’re not writers or journalists. In a world where we are exposed to myriad news and updates worldwide, Eta Hernus hopes to provide you with the most essential scoop in 5 minutes or less. Eta Hernus will bring you a dose of everything: politics, culture, startups, code, AI, learning resources, remote jobs, and other topics of interest. We will sometimes be informative, often crowd-sourced, and always light-hearted.

To give you a taste

(If we were writing a newsletter for the week, it would likely involve the numerous tiger sculptures in the country, switcheroo in Nepali politics, bereal wrappeds, prince harry’s frostbite, elicit for literature reviews, crypto bits that the content writers here don’t understand but the techie folks do, chatgpt and lexica. We promise we will write about the latter in the subsequent editions, especially the frostbite.)

The logistics

We plan to send out a newsletter every week (for now). When we change the frequency, we will let you know and let you set your preferences (easily). Our seventeen-year-old intern has also created a discord server – which looks like slack with more emojis tbh- you can join that here.
